3-hourly Visible Imagery over Continental South America (archive)

Summary

This data set contains 3-hourly visible imagery over Continental South America. The dataset contains data for the period Aug 01, 2001 to present. These data are available via the Mass Store. The format is monthly tar files of gif images. The files are located in /JOSS/DATA/RAW/BY_PROJECT/PACS/GOES. This dataset is large (~200mb per month). If you cannot access the mass store and want to order this data, please send email to codiac AT ucar.edu.
