Phoenix, Arizona SRP High Resolution Rawinsonde Data

Summary

This data set includes 360 high vertical resolution (5-sec) soundings from the Phoenix, Arizona sounding site (WMO 74626) from 8 June to 24 September 2004. This station is located at 33.45 North Latitude and 111.95 West Longitude. These soundings were provided by the Salt River Project (SRP). During the period from 10 June to 6 July 2004 Phoenix released two soundings per day at 0000 and 1200 UTC. For the period from 7 July to 29 August 2004 Phoenix released between 4 and 6 soundings per day. After 29 August Phoenix released 3 to 4 soundings per day.
