ABLE Radio Acoustic Sounding System (RASS) [ABLE]

Summary

This data set contains hourly profiles of virtual temperature from the Atomospheric Bounder Layer Experiments (ABLE) Radio Acoustic Sounding System (RASS) operated by the Argonne National Laboratory in the Walnut River Watershed in Butler County Kansas (east of Wichita). During the BAMEX period three RASS were in operation. Data cover the period from 20 May to 7 July 2003. The data are in ASCII format.
