TRiple AirCraft Intercomparison
Summary
A triple-aircraft intercomparison was flown in early July. Both the King Air and the Electra were flown using fixed vanes, while the Sabreliner was flown using a nose radome. Information obtained from this intercomparison was used to validate the Electra, using fixed vanes, as an acceptable standard for subsequent evaluation of the new King Air radome. In addition, the Sabreliner nose radome flow-sensing configuration was evaluated with data obtained from this intercomparison.
