The data file in this dataset contains daily river discharge rates for 
20 rivers, and depth for one river, in Arctic Canada.  The data were obtained 
from Environment Canada, Water Resources Branch, Ottawa, by Esther Munoz, 
University of Washington, School of Oceanography.  The station locations 
are shown below.  Table 1 below shows the Station ID, Start Date, and Stop 
Date for each river station in the data file.  If a Station ID starts with  
'Q', the data are daily river flow rates (m**3/sec).  If a Station ID starts 
with '8', the data are daily water levels (meters).  Table 2 below shows the 
structure of the data file CANRIVER.DAT.  Each station is referenced in the 
data file by its Station ID.  The data are listed by river location in the 
data file and are in the same order as shown in Table 1.
