The data resolution is 1 km (400 X 400 pixels for the whole domain). This radar is operated by the Centre Spatial Guyanais (CGS), of the French Space Agency (CNES), and is mainly used to verify that there is no precipitation in the horizon around the radar before local operations. The RADAR ASCII files were produced by Meteo-France, with CNES Agreement, from BUFR Meteo-France format. The RADAR data (ascii files and images) can be used by HAIC-HIWC members of the Cayenne 2015 Field Campaign, using the following Legal Mention: RADAR data (or image) produced by METEO-FRANCE Nowcasting Department. Origin of reflectivity data: CNES RADAR at Grand Leblond. The lat-lon grid is written at the end of some of the reflectivity files. For other files, the following ASCII file of lat-lon grid is available: radar_cnes_grid.asc Reflectivity units: dBZ Lat-Lon coordinate units: decimal degrees Missing values: -99999 ************************************************************************* ************************************************************************* List of available files: haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150509.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150510.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150511.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150512.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150513.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150514.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150515.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150516.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150517.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150518.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150519.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150520.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150521.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150522.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150523.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150524.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150525.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150526.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150527.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150528.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150529.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150530.tar haic_hiwc_radar_cayenne_ascii_20150531.tar ************************************************************************* ************************************************************************* The list of missing dates is as followed: 201505271815 to 201505272000 201505272115 to 201505272130 201505281405 to 201505281455 201505281500 to 201505281540 201505281500 to 201505281530 201505281825 to 201505281855 201505281900 to 201505281955 201505291230 to 201505291255 201505291300 to 201505291350 201505291420 to 201505291440 ************************************************************************* ************************************************************************* END of the README
