VORTEX95 KTLX WSR-88D Level-III Radar Data 1.0 General Description This data set contains Level-III WSR-88D radar data from the Twin Lakes, OK (KTLX) site in central Oklahoma (35.33N and 97.278W) during periods the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSMT) T-28 aircraft flew for the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes EXperiment - 1995 (VORTEX95) field project. Data are included for the following periods: 17 May 1995: 2005-2357 UTC 21 May 1995: 1302-1558 UTC 23 May 1995: 2009-2356 UTC The NEXRAD Level III data include a number of products generated from the base Level II data.
