COPS 1991 Raw Flight Data

1.0 General Description

This data set contains raw flight data for flights that the South Dakota School
of Mines and Technology (SDSMT) T-28 aircraft flew for the 1991 Cooperative
Oklahoma Profiler Studies (COPS) Project.  Data are included for the 
flight 547 that occurred on 6/5/1991.

3.0 File Naming Convention

fxxxhail.raw - raw hail data
fxxxhvps.raw - raw hvps data
fxxx_2dc.raw - raw 2dc data
fltxxx.raw - raw flight data
fltxxx.rnd - reduced data
fltxxx.src - src data
where xxx is the three digit flight number.
There is also a tables directory with multiple tables containing calibration
and other data.  The files are contained in one tar-gzipped file for each 
flight with the tables data contained in an additional tar-gzipped file.  
These data files should be untarred in the same directory location.  The 
resulting directories will be yr1991/fxxx and yr1991/tables.
