Summary
This data set was collected as part of the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering
Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP) to document the
biomass, abundance and species composition of mesozooplankton on the eastern
Bering Sea shelf. BEST-BSIERP together are the Bering Sea project. The gear is
a 1-m Multiple Opening Closing Net and Environmental sampling system. The size
of the opening is 1-m square. See Wiebe PH, Burt KH, Boyd SH, Morton AW (1976)
A multiple opening/closing net and environmental sensing system for sampling
zooplankton.
