These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
Blood collected from captured polar bears was analyzed for blood chemistry, hematology, stable isotopes of carbon and nitrogen, free fatty-acid and amino-acid profiles, and serum hormone levels. Information on bear IDs and dates of capture is not available on account of the threatened species status of the subjects.
