Polar Bears: Body temperature

Summary
A subset of captured polar bears was surgically implanted with subcutaneous
temperature loggers in the rump, or in the abdominal cavity. Subcutaneous
loggers recorded temperature every 10 minutes. Abdominal loggers recorded
temperature every 60 minutes. Information on bear IDs and dates of capture is
not available because of the threatened species status of the subjects.
