ACE-1: Discoverer Nitric Oxide Measurements (Johnson)
Summary
This dataset contains nitric oxide measurements (chemiluminescence method) collected aboard the NOAA R/V Discoverer by James Johnson (NOAA/PMEL) during the ACE-1 period. The data contains day of year in UTC (decimal of hourly averages), and Nitric Oxide (NO) in pptv. The data were processed by PMEL to remove measurements potentially affected by ship exhaust, and quality assured using nighttime analysis to determine the NO artifact. This dataset is still considered preliminary pending further analysis of instrument uncertainties and correlation with other available data.
