These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
This dataset consists of particle number concentration data (> 3 nm) taken at Macquarie Island by Sonia Kreidenweis and Fred Brechtel (Colorado State University). The data contain time (ending at the stamped UTC time) and particle counts > 3 nm (N/cm3). The particle counts have been integrated over 1 minute intervals. This dataset has not been edited for baseline, local contamination or other meteorological conditions, but calibration times and other non-valid, non-atmospheric data have been removed by the PIs. This results in a non-continuous time record which would need to be accounted for during any averaging procedure.
