IMK 7.0km COSMO Model Imagery on Domain 2 Using GME Boundary Conditions https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/110.088 Summary This data set contains COSMO (Consortium for Small Scale Modeling) model forecast imagery from the 7.0 km resolution version of the model on domain 2 (invest) and using the DWD (Deutscher Wetterdienst) GME global model for boundary conditions. The domains are defined daily, according to the current weather conditions. The domain is typically a 20 degree by 20 degree box over the region of primary interest. Often a second model run on a 20 degree by 20 degree box over a region of secondary interest. The forecast products are available hourly out to 72 hours. Products include amongst others surface, clouds, precipitation, and 200/500/850/1000mb winds and relative vorticity.
