VORTEX2: United States Precision Lightning Network (USPLN) Data

Summary

During Vortex 2 lightning stroke data were collected in 1-hour reports which contain cloud-to-ground lightning stroke data and cloud flash discharges. The data are available in ASCII NAPLN extended data format. The reports have been combined into daily tar files. Data are available for May and June of 2010. All users must read and agree to the ERAU-USPLN Data Access Policy associated with this proprietary data set.
