This dataset contains ECMWF 0.25 degree (lon x lat = 561 x 261 points) resolution forecast model grids in GRIB format from NPS. Forecasts are initialized at 00 and 12 UTC every day. Forecast times are 3-hourly out to 144 hours, then 6-hourly out to 240 hours 25 vertical levels (hPa): 1000 950 925 900 850 800 700 600 500 400 300 250 200 150 100 70 50 30 20 10 7 5 3 2 1. There are two files per day (where HH is the initial time of 00 or 12): predict.atmos.HH.grib - Three-dimensional data that exist on the 25 different levels; predict.srfce.HH.grib - "Two-dimensional" data that exist on just one level. To be more accurate, have just one value at each location. (eg: mean sea level pressure, total precipitable water, 10m winds).
