GCIP/EAOP-98 Radar: WSI NIDS Radar Data

Summary
This data set contains a limited set of WSR-88D Level III data products
archived from the WSI NIDS datastream for four radars in the GCIP/EAOP-98
domain (JKL, MRX, PBZ, and RLX) for the period October 1997 to September 1998.
Also, for the period December 1997 and January 1998 DTX, GRB, and GRR were
collected for the Lake-ICE project. The products archived are base
reflectivity and velocity at the first four tilts, composite reflectivity, and
Vertical Azimuth Display (VAD) wind profile. Data are archived in the original
WSI NIDS format on exabyte tape. One week's data is contained on a single
tape, as one Unix "tar" file per day.
