These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
The Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) program operates 915 MHz profilers at the Central Facility and three Intermediate Facilities of its Southern Great Plains site. The 915 MHz profiler Radio Acoustic Sounding System (RASS) provides hourly vertical profiles of the virtual temperature. The measurements start at 0.097 km and continue up to 2.408 km with a vertical spacing of about 0.1 km. See the README and header portion of the netcdf file for futher information.
