These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
This data set contains the average water column temperature from the Pacific Marine Arctic Regional Synthesis (PacMARS) conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) compilation to a grid of 0.5 degrees. Measurements were taken on latitude from 63.5 to 78 degrees north and 2 degrees and longitude from -180 to -135 degrees east. There are three columns in the file: longitude, latitude, and temperature (degrees C). All missing values are denoted as NaN. There are no temperatures at latitudes greater than 75 degrees north. These data were gathered in July through September.
