MAPS MOLTS Derived Soundings for the GCIP Region https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/35.021 Summary The Upper Missouri River Basin Pilot Project (UMRBPP) MAPS MOLTS Derived Sounding data set contains NOAA/FSL MAPS Model Location Time Series (MOLTS) derived soundings for locations contained within the UMRBPP domain. These output are only for the initial analysis time (i.e. no forecast derived soundings) and only the state parameters (pressure,temperature,dew point,relative humidity, wind speed, and wind direction). The complete output (including hourly forecast derived soundings with all surface and upper level parameters) in the original BUFR format are availabe from NCAR/SCD. This data consists of output from 05 April 1999 to 05 May 1999. However data for the period 16 April to 29 April 1999 is missing from this data set. See the README file for more details.
