Summary

This dataset contains GOES-12 Channel 2 shortwave infrared satellite imagery from the time period of the Tropical Ocean tRoposphere Exchange of Reactive halogen species and Oxygenated VOC (TORERO) project. From 13 January to 16 February 2012, the imagery covers Antofagasta, Chile, where the NSF/NCAR GV was forward deployed, and the imagery from 17 February to 1 April 2012 centers on the Galapagos Islands, and the GV was based in San Jose, Costa Rica.
