DC3: ASOS 1-Minute Data

Summary

This data set contains page 1 and page 2 ASOS one minute data. The page 1 data are in data set DSI 6405 and page 2 data are in data set DSI 6406. All files are named by 4 letter station name, 4 digit year and 2 digit month. There is a gap in the data in all sites from approximately 5 June to 10 June 2012, varying somewhat by station. This data set includes data from the entire ASOS network including those in the 50 U.S. states and a few international locations at military bases.

Data is in 4 tar files. Two are for May and two for June. Each month is split into Page One (6405) and Page Two (6406). See the documentation files below for a description of the Parameters contained in each of the two Pages. Note tar file sizes which will appear when ordering. It is strongly advised that one of the compression options, GNU zip or Info_ZIP, be selected when ordering.

This data set was supplied by NOAA/NCDC. NCAR/EOL has conducted no processing or quality control on these data and they are provided as is.
