These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
This data set contains CU CIMS hydroxide (OH), sulfuric acid (H2SO4), stabilized Criegee intermediates (sCIs), and methanesulfonic acid (MSA) concentrations data collected aboard the NSF/NCAR C-130 aircraft during the Southeast Atmosphere Study (SAS) from 22 June 2013 through 12 July 2013. These data were collected using a CIMS based instrument that is part of the Cantrell/Mauldin HOx CIMS instrument and are presented as 30 second averages. These data have been filtered for unacceptable noise or other ancillary parameters, however there still may be some outlying points. These data have been reduced with an altitude dependent calibration coefficient measured during the study. Because the calibration measurements are sparse, a larger uncertainty is given. This data set is in ICARTT format. Please see the header portion of the data files for details on instruments, parameters, quality assurance, quality control, contact information, and data set comments.
