Summary

This dataset contains MTSAT-2 satellite data obtained during the Deep Propagating Gravity Wave Experiment over New Zealand (DEEPWAVE) from 9 June 2014 to 24 July 2014. These data are from the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Abstract Data Distribution Environment (ADDE) server. These data are in three-hourly tar files that contain data files in the AREA file format. Each tar file typically contains 2 to 8 AREA files, depending upon data collection.
