OWLeS: University of Illinois Mobile Radiosonde Data

Summary

The University of Illinois operated a mobile radiosonde system during lake-effect systems on Lake Ontario. University of Illinois operations were on the northern side of Lake Ontario. This data set includes the quality controlled University of Illinois soundings released for the Ontario Winter Lake-effect Systems (OWLeS) field phase (7 December 2013 to 29 January 2014). A total of 61 quality controlled, high resolution (1-second) soundings are contained in the final OWLeS data set.
