GCIP/NESOB-97 Radar: NIDS Radar Data

Summary
This data set contains a limited set of WSR-88D Level III data products
archived from the NIDS datastream for nine radars in the GCIP/LSA-SW domain.
The products archived are base reflectivity and velocity at 0.5 and 1.5
degrees, composite reflectivity, and Vertical Azimuth Display (VAD) wind
profile. The sites that were archived are KDDC, KICT, KINX, KFDR, KTLX, KAMA,
KFTG, KGLD, and KPUX. Data are archived in the original WSI NIDS format on
exabyte tape. One week's data is contained on a single tape, as one Unix "tar"
file per day.
