FP6 University of Manitoba Doppler Lidar VAD Winds Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/485.036 Summary This data set contains the data from the Leosphere 200S Doppler Lidar that was located at the PECAN Fixed PISA 6 site at Hesston, Kansas when it was collecting plane-parallel-indicator (PPI) scans at 60 degrees elevation. The data were processed by the velocity azimuth display (VAD) technique by Dave Turner (NOAA/NSSL). There are both daily netCDF data files and daily png imagery files in this data set.
