GTS Mandatory/Significant Level Sounding 2016 Hurricane Matthew Data (EOL Format) https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/488.020 Summary National weather agencies around the world routinely release radiosondes at 00 and/or 12 UTC with occasional special releases. This data set includes the quality controlled Global Telecommunication System (GTS) soundings released at sites near tropical cyclones of interest to the Tropical Cyclone Intensity (TCI) field project. For the 2016 season, this included soundings from 28 September to 9 October 2016 from Bermuda, Wallops Island, Cape Canaveral, Nassau, Kingston, Grand Cayman, Saint Maarten, and Guadeloupe. A total of 183 quality-controlled, mandatory and significant level resolution soundings are contained in the final TCI 2016 Hurricane Matthew data set.
