NASA DC-8 NCAR/EOL Dropsonde Data

Summary

Dropsonde sounding profile data from the NASA DC-8 medium altitude research aircraft. A total of 95 dropsonde soundings were collected during 11 research flights primarily off the west coast of Central and South America. All 95 quality-controlled soundings are contained in the final dropsonde data set.
