UAH MoDLS Doppler Lidar Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/527.032 Summary This data set contains 5 minute temporal resolution from the University of Alabama-Huntsville (UAH) Doppler lidar during the 2016 VORTEX-SE field season. The Doppler lidar is part of the UAH Mobile Doppler Lidar and Soundings (MoDLS) system. Data were collected for VORTEX-SE 2016 IOP1, 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 4C, and 4D. Included are RHI (Range-Height Indicator), VAD (velocity-azimuth display), vertical stare, and wind profile data in both raw and processed form. The raw data are in a binary format and the processed data are in the ASCII Halo Photonics Lidar (hpl) format.
