Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) Model Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/567.003 Summary This dataset contains Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model data from the High Ice Water Content (HIWC) Radar Study project that took place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Palmdale, California;. and Kona, Hawaii. WRF is a state-of-the-art atmospheric modeling system designed for both meteorological research and numerical weather prediction. The data file output is from the WRF V4.0 model. The domain for these products moved as the project moved from one location to the next location. Florida, Baja California, and Hawaii are the domains for this dataset. The data files are in netCDF format and are grouped into tar files, one for every 6 hours.. The forecasts are created once every 6 hours at 00, 06, 12 and 18 hours. For best results, only order one 6 hour period at one time, since the data files are very large.
