Summary

This dataset contains the NOAA/ESRL/PSL radar wind profiler, radio acoustic sounding system, and surface meteorology data collected for the Chequamegon Heterogeneous Ecosystem Energy-balance Study Enabled by a High-density Extensive Array of Detectors (CHEESEHEAD) project time and area of interest. The data were collected at 2 sites: Lakeland, WI (ARV) and Prentice, WI (PRW). More information about the sites and instrumentation can be found in the readme documentation.

    In Version 2.0 of this dataset, there has been a change in the way in which the RASS data have been processed. In particular, the source has created a 5-minute average twice per hour, as opposed to a single 10-minute average once per hour (in Version 1.0 of this dataset).
