Summary
This dataset consists of airborne doppler radar measurements of selected
tornadic storms made by the ELDORA radar aboard the NCAR Electra aircraft
during the VORTEX-95 Field Project. This radar is specifically designed to
provide dual doppler measurements of convective storms. VORTEX-95 is the
second field deployment of the radar.
