NSF/NCAR C-130 OH, H2SO4, MSA Measurements https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/6.72 Summary This dataset consists of measurements of OH, H2SO4, and MSA made from the C-130 aircraft during ACE-1. This dataset differs from the preliminary one in several ways. First, the calibration for OH was changed. Previously a value of 5.5 x 10-20 molec/cm2 was used for the H2O absoption cross section at 1849 nm. Recent work however at NCAR and Harvard indicate that the reported value should be higher. A value of 7.2 x 10-20 molec/cm2 was used in this analysis. Secondly, the values presented in the preliminary dataset were calculated using a calibration constant measured at sea-level, where an altitude dependent calibration constant was used in this analysis.
