IHOP 2002 Falcon QC Dropsonde Data
This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the International H2O Project (IHOP 2002). This data set contains high resolution dropsonde data from the Falcon aircraft. The Falcon made drops on May 17th,19th,20th,21st,25th,29th and 31st, and on June 3rd,8th, and 9th 2002. The dropsonde data was provided by the National Center for Atmospheric Research Atmospheric Technology Division (NCAR/ATD). An important note to users: ATD reprocessed this data and released a new version of this dataset May 1st,2003. See ATD Reprocessing. Consult the README for more information.
September 2008: The IHOP_2002 Falcon and Lear dropsonde data sets have been updated to include latitude and longitude data that were not in the earlier version. The PTH and wind data are unchanged.
