Mexican Navy SEMAR R/V Altair Ceilometer Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/82.277 Summary There are many different types of files included in this dataset. The .zip files contain the raw data from the ceilometer in daily files. This includes codes for cloud base heights, housekeeping information, and the profile of backscatter intensity. The .asc files are daily files of the cloud height information. The ceiliometer images are daily jpegs of time-ht cross sections of the backscatter and can be used as references to look at clouds on a daily basis. The altair_leg1_report.pdf report applies only to Leg 1 of the NAME04 Altair cruise. No such report exists for leg2.
