RAINEX: Curacao Rawinsonde Data

Summary

This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the Hurricane Rainband and Intensity Change Experiment (RAINEX). This data set includes 95 high vertical resolution (2 second) soundings from Curacao. (WMO 78988). Soundings were typically released twice per day (0000 and 1200 UTC) from 1 August to 8 October 2005. This dataset contains soundings released during hurricanes: Katrina and Ophelia.
