Coastal Ocean Monitoring and Predicition System (COMPS) Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/88.060 Summary This data set contains hourly resolution surface meteorological and oceanographic data from the Coastal Ocean Monitoring and Prediction System (COMPS). COMPS is operated by the University of South Florida College of Marine Science. These data were retrieved from the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC). There are 14 stations within the network that provide meteorological observations. The stations are located along the gulf coast of Florida. This data set covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2005. The data are in space delimited ASCII format. NCAR/EOL has conducted no additional quality control of these data.
