NWS Slidell GTS Mandatory/Significant Level Sounding Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/88.065 Summary This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the Hurricane Rainband and Intensity Change Experiment (RAINEX). It includes 56 mandatory / significant level soundings from Slidell, LA site (WMO 72233). Soundings were typically released twice per day (0000 and 1200 UTC) from 1 Aug to 29 Aug 2005. The high resolution soundings for the Slidell, LA site for the month of August were lost due to Hurricane Katrina. The September high resolution data for Slidell, LA is included in the NOAA/NWS Rawinsonde Data [NCAR/EOL] Data Set.
