RAINEX: Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS) Data

Summary

This data set contains variable resolution surface meteorological and oceanographic data from the Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS) operated by the National Ocean Service. This data set includes data from the 9 stations that are part of the Tampa Bay PORTS network. This data set covers the period from 1 August to 30 September 2005. The data are in space delimited ASCII format. NCAR/EOL conducted no additional quality control on these data. Data outside this period is included in the NOAA/ESRL/GSD MADIS dataset and can be downloaded by following the link under "Additional Information" below.
