UK BAE-146 Navigation, State Parameter, Microphysics, Aerosol, and Chemistry Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/92.001 Summary This data set contains final state parameter, microphysics and navigation data from the BAE-146 aircraft during the Terrain-induced Rotor Experiment (T-REX) project. The main data files are in NetCDF format, with filenames in the form: core_famm_yyyymmdd_rn_bnnn.nc where yyyymmdd is the flight start date, rn the version number, and bnnn is the flight number. Each file is accompanied by a text file, Bfff_2006-month-day_DESCRIP.TXT which is an ascii text file giving details of the parameters included in the dataset and the data flagging scheme that we employ for quality control. Because of the way that data flags are employed, the NetCDF file contains for each parameter a further parameter which gives its flag values. Flights were processed using CONDOR test version of CALIBRATE so as to incorporate revised use of flight constants in turbulence probe processing. These apply correction factors to AoA and AoSS derived from processing of B182 self-cal manouevres by Al Rodi (UWyo).
