NRL/Yale Linear Model Rockies Imagery https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/92.090 Summary This dataset contains images developed by the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) from their Linear Mountain Wave Forecast Model. The forecast products are for the Colorado Front Range and were developed for the Terrain-Induced Rotor Experiment (T-REX). This dataset contains forecast images of vertical velocity and winds at 3500, 5500, 8000, 10000, and 12000 meters, two cross sections and forecast skew-t images for Grand Junction. The forecasts were initialized at 00 and 12 UTC and products are available at 6 hour intervals out to 36 hours. The model was run from 26 Feb 2006 to 2 May 2006.
