HIAPER Atmospheric Radiation Package (HARP) Spectral Irradiance (SI) https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/96.002 Summary During PACDEX, the GV collected spectral irradiance measurements in the zenith and nadir directions. This data is stored in IDL SAVE file format, one file per day. To access this data, start idl and use the restore command to ingest the data. Data are available for days there were flights. See the missions page within the PACDEX field catalog for a list of flights made. Please contact Bruce Kindel (kindel@ucar.edu) before using the nadir spectral irradiance data acquired during PACDEX. An aircraft vibration problem related to the mounting of the instrument degraded the stability of the measurements. Some flights are of good quality (i.e. stable to 1-5%) while others are of rather poor quality (30-40% changes). This pertains only to the nadir data. The zenith data was stable to 1-2% over the entire experiment.
