These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
The armored T-28 aircraft was flown by the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSMT). The data from these flights were collected by SDSMT under agreement with the National Science Foundation (NSF) Lower Atmospheric Observing Facility Program. This dataset includes NetCDF data for three T-28 flights flown during the Polarimetric Radar Hydrometeor Identification and NOx Production by Lightning (CHILL-TEX) project in Greeley, Colorado in 2002. The observational frequency is 20 Hertz.
