1995 VORTEX KTLX WSR-88D Level III Radar Data [NCDC] https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/98.016 Summary This data set contains Level-III WSR-88D radar data from the Twin Lakes, OK (KTLX) site in central Oklahoma (35.33N and 97.278W) during periods the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSMT) T-28 aircraft flew for the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes EXperiment - 1995 (VORTEX95) field project. Data are included for the following periods: 17 May 1995: 2005-2357 UTC 21 May 1995: 1302-1558 UTC 23 May 1995: 2009-2356 UTC The NEXRAD Level III data include a number of products generated from the base Level II data. Depending on the volume coverage pattern in use, the data resolution varies. The entire data set has been compressed into one tar file.
