This data was used for to conduct a retrospective analysis of catches of pollock and cod to create maps of species distribution as reflected in the catches. The spawning and feeding locations of cod and pollock in the Bering Sea are poorly identified, especially how these relate to changing environmental conditions. We used this historical catch data to evaluate changes in the distributions of catches as they relate to changes in environmental conditions.
