• Click with the right mouse button on the desktop and choose Properties from the menu that pops up.

A window similar to the one at the left will pop up on your screen.

Click the Settings tab.

Click on the Down Arrow to view the available options in the Colors drop-down list.

Choose High Color (16 bit) or higher.*

With the mouse grab the slider in the Screen Area section and move it to the right until the dimensions are 1024 by 768 or higher.*

Click OK. You may be asked to restart your computer.

*Note: Not all options are available on all computers. Older equipment, especially, may not offer the higher resolution and color settings.
