TITLE OF DATASET Radiation Measurements from the USCGC Polar Sea, 1994 DATA ORGANIZATION This data set is organized as follows: arcss093_documentation.txt This ASCII document describes data structure and collection methods. arcs093_documentation.txt This File has the complete documentation and all information about the data in this set. .RAD files These files contain FTIR emission spectra. Each emission spectrum is stored in an individual comma-delimited ASCII file. Each filename gives the date and time: the first character is "J" for July or "A" for August of 1994, the next two numbers give the day of the month, the letter "D" denotes a sky-viewing data spectrum (as opposed to calibration spectra, which are not included in this data compilation), and the last four numbers give the time in GMT. For example, the filename J31D1230.RAD refers to a radiometrically calibrated zenith emission spectrum collected at 12:30 GMT on 31 July, 1994. pyr###.csv These files contain pyranometer data. Data are stored in comma- delimited ASCII files, which are labeled pyr2##.csv, where 2## is the calendar day number. bsi###.csv These files contain ultraviolet radiometer data. Data are stored in 24-hour segments in comma-delimited ASCII files labeled bsi2##.csv, where "bsi" denotes Biospherical Instruments radiometer data and 2## is the calendar day number.
