Notes for Texas Tech Ka-band (TTUKa) Deployments during VORTEX2

All TTUKa data are organized in separate zip files corresponding the date (local time) of the event.  Data are further separated by radar and deployment (e.g., “d1”, “d2”)

Only stationary deployments have been included.  If you are interested in the inventory of data taken while the radars were in transit, please contact the PI (address below). 

Data have been corrected for azimuth (i.e., “northed”) based on evident ground clutter.  Correct latitude and longitude information have been entered into the header.

The data fields included are:

DZ – Reflectivity
VR – Radial velocity
SW – Spectrum width
ZT – Copy of reflectivity
