Data from LES simulations of turbulence under sea-ice and 
leads.



The archived files contain run log files (.log), diagnostic data 
such as average T, average TKE budget terms, etc. (_dag.nc), 
two-dimensional slabs (_slb.nc), and three-dimensional output 
files suitable for restarting the LES model (_rst.nc).  All data files 
are in netcdf format and can be viewed using PPLUS (available 
from Don Denbo, address below) or with other netcdf data pro-
cessing routines.  Each field has an attribute list with the name of 
the field and units.  For a more complete listing, the LES model 
code has a full description.  The model code is available from 
either Eric Skyllingstad (skylling@oce.orst.edu) or Donald 
Denbo (dwd@pmel.noaa.gov).  There is also a copy of the LES 
model in the data archive under olem.tar.
